Hello and thanks for the great work you did with this theme.
On the portfolio post the Read More Tag, from wordpress, is not working. Is there any way to activate it or so?
Thanks in advance

Hello, I’m not sure why you need Read More Tag, did you noticed there is a learn more button on portfolio preview page?

Hey Kevin, thanks for the fast replay. I need it to shorten the text of a portfolio post. So it’s more like to not fill the page with text but if somebody wants to read it he can click -> read more. WordPress is giving you the chance to do this with the <!–more–> tag. This is normaly working pretty good. I’m not sure so if it is a problem of the theme that this is not working or if it is a problem because it is not a post but a portfolio post…anyways i’m just trying to get this working again..

Hello, I want to confirm that you want to add More Tag on portfolio preview page, right?

JulianG answered 2 years ago

hey, no i mean the final portfolio page not the preview page. But i found a workaround with a plugin now. Thanks for your support! But just that you now the tag is not working :D…

Would you please me a URL to show your More Tag? I am curious how do you do that. Thanks! 🙂

Hey i’m working at the moment at a local server for building up everything, so at the moment i can not send you a link of my stuff…but here you see how the tag is working: https://en.support.wordpress.com/more-tag/view-all/
The plugin i’m now using is working pretty good, it’s this one http://www.jamos.ch/plugins/wp-show-more/

Hello, it’s not the same thing. More Tag can only be displayed on homepage, category page and so on, it will not be displayed on the post page. It will give you a link to post page, not the current page. The plugin you used can show or hide the text in the current page.
