Each time the pluton.css is called , an incorrect UTF police typo is displayed on the site from any PC browser (Chrome/IE11).
Example: That character is displayed (the “chinese” one http://www.utf8icons.com/character/59424/UTF-8-character instead of the + for a portfolio item.
Bootom of the page , no arrow but this character : http://www.utf8icons.com/character/59558/UTF-8-character
This is badly appears only on PC browser , very amazed correct display on iPad Safari & iPad Chrome.
You can see it live from my website http://www.perf8english.com
Thanks in advance
I try to understand the situation (till i get your answer) it’s like the theme can’t use for that case your font pluton.ttf (fonts in the right place indeed on wp-content/themes/ta-pluton/fonts) and use a kind of classic font indead for that icon-*
Hello, I checked your site and you’ve done some customization for the theme. I’m not sure what you have done. But the problem is the font icon. Did you modified it?
Hello, yes i did some customization to adapt color (style.css) & remove some parts of the page (template-home.php). I don’t find a link from what i modified to the font issue. But, now, wordpress 4.3.1 was just automatically been installed and it has fixed the isssue !! the correct font/symbol is displayed again !!! (just for information can you tell me what happened ? a link to the font library was broken and rebuilt during update process ? thanks for sharing.
